Hill’s Hideouts were developed by Jeffrey Hill and have been pains-takingly drawn and developed in an easy-to-read format to help even the most novice do-it-yourself person build a safe, comfortable, quality and yet functional shooting house that can be enjoyed for years to come. Jeffrey has devoted countless hours to the drawing of these detailed deer blind plans in the hope of providing hunters with years of enjoyment and pride in their hunting houses. After a lifetime of hunting, a profession in carpentry, and constructing many shooting houses of his own; Jeffrey appreciated the need for having a uniform plan to make building houses/blinds much easier and more pleasurable. After perfecting this, he then decided to pass along his knowledge and experience to fellow hunters.
Using Hill's Hideouts detailed plans, your house(s) will be uniform time after time! No guessing about materials, no speculating angles and cuts, and no haphazard construction of your houses/blinds. Our plans save countless hours of layout time, figuring materials lists, and organizing cut lists; not to mention all widths, dimensions, heights, etc. are included, which will save you even more time by eliminating trial and error. The plans for our “Hideouts” include extensive drawings, exact measurements for each aspect of the house (right down to the ladder), a precise material list, cut list, and specific notations to help with layout and preparation; as well as explicit information on how to set your house. Included in our deer blind plans are photos of the house with views from all sides. Other plans do not offer the option of either a single unit, double unit or both units in one set of plans. Hill’s Hideouts does! These unique plans include a maintenance-free pitched tin roof for long-lasting durability and a full 72” door, which other plans do not offer. For best results, treated wood is recommended on your house or blind. These houses/blinds are perfect for hunting clubs and/or individuals. They are easy to construct, transport and install. If you choose, prefabrication can be completed at home with easy assembly on your site.
Of course, safety is first and foremost when hunting; however, function and comfort are also important aspects to any successful hunt and will allow you to concentrate and enjoy your hunt.
